The first record, which shows there has been no abnormal shutdown for one hundred days in unit #2 of 600MW, ICDAS, by 6th February, is made in WOM Turkish project department. 

    This great achievement is attributed to hard-working staff in project department, and they are brave to face challenges, move forward and never give up. 29th October last year unit #2 was shutdown by manual mistake, which nearly caused termination of contract. Under the circumstances, project head had courage and led staff to overcome difficulties. They worked out new plan, paid special attention to work system, like work permit and checklist, punished violations more severely, and took more focused and practical measures to raise the awareness of safety. Through theses efforts, great score is achieved and project department obtains the recognition and praise from the owner.

    WOM Turkish project department will continue to work earnestly, advance bravely and make good preparation for the renewal of 6+6 contract. More contacts and communications will be made with the owner, Sinosteel Corporation and Power Construction Corporation of Heilongjiang to have better cooperation with them so as to make more contributions to the development of company in Turkey.
