The urgent repair to coal conveyor belt in Xiexin Project Department of WOM started
Xiexin Project Department of WOM started urgent repair to coal conveyor belt #2C(Phase Ⅱ), 17th March. This replacement of belt #2C was characterized by heavy work and tight schedule. During repair, working groups would rectify defects and do some routine maintenance of coal handling system, like periodic repair to motor 2C-3 of belt #2C, couplers disconnection of 4 belt motors and dismantling a speed reducer to send it to repair in OEM. Compared with PhaseⅠ, the workload had doubled with 10 workdays. So Project Department had made thorough preparation before starting work, specifying maintenance procedures, requirements for technology, time schedule and safety measures and appointing persons in charge of each work section to ensure repairing work would go on systematically.

Unit #4 of Quang Ninh Power Plant(Phase Ⅱ) in Vietnam restarted before PAC
With the end of last “Noise Test”on 4th March, the test on performance of unit #4 of Quang Ninh Power Plant(Phase Ⅱ) in Vietnam had been finished completely. In comparison with the test on performance of unit #3(Phase Ⅱ), the efficiency and quality had been improved dramatically. With the consent of owner, all units were stopped for defect maintenance. After that, unit #4 was ignited at 0h on 16th March 2014 punctually. The last startup before PAC was attached to great importance, implying that unit #4 was set to turn over to Vietrnamese owner and also Project PhaseⅡ soon would be terminated successfully. After unit #4 shut-down, maintenance staff checked EH oil system of turbine carefully and proposed solutions concerning over-current and over-flow of EH oil pump during running. They pumped all EH oil to filter, replaced GV servo valve and flushed solenoid valve of main steam valve. The emulsion of low pressure bypass oil station was also removed totally. With coordination of all technicians, unit #4 was started smoothly.

为了提高员工安全素质,进一步加强基础管理,提高员工安全风险辨识与防控能力,自3月3日起,皖能运检华塑项目公司配合业主方分4天共9场开展安规考试,华塑项目公司相关生产人员及输煤保洁等120多人参加考试。 华塑项目公司精心组织此次全员安规考试,考试采取闭卷的方式。试卷内容加强理论与实践的联系,切实提高了安规考试的实际效果。2014年来,华塑项目公司认真落实皖能运检公司年度安全工作会议精神,加强对员工的安全教育,坚持“安全第一”的工作主线,强化基础管理工作,要求全体生产人员严格落实各项安全措施,坚守住不可逾越的安全红线。通过安规普考、持续开展安全生产事故警示教育、坚持不懈开展反习惯性违章及强化缺陷管理等举措,进一步促进全体员工巩固安全知识、增强安全意识,确保华塑项目公司安全生产持续保持的良好势头。(黄霞)

WOM Taicang Project Department commended for excellent performance
The honorable title “Advanced Group with Four Stars” was awarded to the 3rd shift group of fuel operation from WOM Taicang Project Department, ranking second among 31 outsourcing groups. The 4th shift group of desulfurization operation got the 5th place. The two groups were both highly commended by Huaneng Power Plant, March 2014. It has been one year since Taicang Power Plant required that all sections implement regulations and strengthen management on safety. Huaneng Group held meeting and decided to launch a special movement to carry out safety regulations and grade these outsourcing companies and groups according to their implementation. Meanwhile, Project Department conveyed the meeting tenor to all groups, building advanced working groups. With the leadership of sections, all groups accomplished every production task successfully and safely during one year. Taking the movement as a chance, all groups enhanced efforts and worked hard with innovation, whom Huaneng Taicang Power Plant spoke highly of for excellent work style. Among them, the 3rd shift group implemented and carried out measures of safety production positively, taking “production with safety” as the core. They put people first and established the concept of “zero violation of discipline” to avert accidents. And they also worked from details and insisted on the principle of combining instruction with punishment to implement responsibilities to every post and avoid individual mistakes. Moreover, the shift group strengthened safety consciousness in the forms of inspection of shift head and staff rectification. In this way would every worker take part in group management consciously and spontaneously.

WOM Hefei Branch arranged major overhaul of the unit #2 of Hefei No.2 Power Plant
Hefei Branch held the initiative meeting to arrange major overhaul of the unit #2 of Hefei No.2 Power Plant, and deployed safety and technology work, on the afternoon of 19th February. The workers occupied with the major overhaul and chiefs of corresponding sections from Hefei No.2 Power Plant, 40 in total, attended the meeting. The major overhaul is the first exterior project of maintenance contracted by Hefei Branch in 2014. The duration of the project is from 0h 1st March to 24h 29th April, namely sixty days. It is expected to finish the maintenance in fifty-nine days. For the project, Hefei Branch established engineering project charged by Li Jun, vice general manager of Hefei Branch, and Shen Jian, deputy director, who specializes in boiler. Li Jun emphasized that in accordance with the principle “My Work, My Responsibility”, all workers must overcome difficulties ahead of us and work with cooperation to accomplish the major overhaul perfectly. Fang Qibing, Wu Guangming etc, certain sections chiefs of Hefei No.2 Power Plant, raised some specific requirements from perspectives of safety, technology, quality and safety maintenance.
