Taiwan guests inspected Quang Ninh project department in Vietnam

Ke Youjun, vice director of captive power plant of Ha Tinh steel plant in Vietnam, with his entourage, inspected the electricity production charged by Quang Ninh project department of WOM in Quang Ninh Power Plant. He attended pre-work meeting of maintenance group, asked heads, who are in charge of steam turbine and boiler, about defect rectification methodes and its time on feedwater pump, forced draft fan and induced draft fan. He also inquired about work flow. After meeting, Ke Youjun, in the company of Xu Xiaoji, general manager of Vietnam branch of WOM, went to work site and asked owner directly about staff working capability of project department.

Ha Tinh steel plant funded by Formosa Plastics Group is located in Ky Anh economic zone, Ha Tinh province, in central Vietnam. It covers the sea area of 1000 acres and land area of 2000 arces, with an investment of 40 billion USD. This is one of the ten largest FDI projects in Vietnam, also the largest port in southeast Asia and steel and iron association area. The first phase of captive power plant, a supporting engineering, is designed with five units, each installed capacity of 150 MW, the second phase four units with each installed capacity of 150 MW.

Xu Xiaoji contacted Formosa Plastics Group and promoted WOM last year after while this project was commenced, which left a deep impression on Formosa Plastics Group. This time, Ke Youjun with his entourage chose to visit Quang Ninh Power Plant from some companies, expecting to have a better knowledge about staff working capability and technology level in Quang Ninh project department.
