“72+24” hours trial operation conducted successfully in WOM Turkish project

Unit #2 of expansion project (phase Ⅲ) of ICDAS power plant in Turkey, contracted by Sinosteel Equipment &Engineering CO., LTD, was conducted “72+24” hours trial operation at 17：35, July 21，2014, and handed over to ICDAS owner for commercial operation. 26 momths has passed since this expansion project was commenced.

This expansion project(phase Ⅲ) unit #2 with installed capacity 600MW, whose main equipment(BTG) was produced by Dongfang Equipment Ltd., is the first international project of O&M undertaken by WOM. This brings about challenges and opportunities. Our team has obtained PAC certificate issued by the owner, which implies that WOM has capacity to contract projects on operation, maintenance and commissioning for 600MW unit, and also strengthens our competitiveness in the international market. This will also exert great impact on WOM development.
