Recently, WOM Indonesia project department has taken a series of emergency measures to ensure the safe and stable operation of the unit and the life safety of the staff in view of the potential safety hazards such as the corrosion and oil leakage of the exhaust pipe recently occurred in the fuel system.

        According to the unified arrangement of the project department, the boiler operators implement various safety measures, shut down the fuel oil system, cooperate with the maintenance personnel to drain, purge and fill in inert gas, etc. to ensure the personal safety of the maintenance personnel. Because there is no fuel oil system, the unit lacks important measures to stabilize the combustion, which challenges the safe and stable operation of the unit. In particular, the load of the unit changes greatly during the day, and the load is reduced to the minimum allowable load at night. In addition, some coal mills have major safety hazards, all kinds of conditions cause great pressure on the safe operation of the unit during the maintenance task. The project department has formulated a detailed plan, and has formulated a treatment plan in advance for all possible situations, so as to ensure that there is no personal and equipment damage during the maintenance period. After four days of emergency repair, the normal operation of the fuel system has been restored, and the unit is safe and stable, highly recognized by the Indonesian owner.(Liu Yuanli）
