Since July, the coal yard of Wucaiwan Power Plant in Xinjiang has accumulated too much coal and the coal heap is too high. In addition, the hot weather accelerates the oxidation of pulverized coal, and the coal yard is very prone to spontaneous combustion. Therefore, the WOM Wucaiwan Project Department has taken various measures to ensure the safety of coal yards. When the inspectors find that there is smoke or spontaneous combustion in the coal pile, they timely arrange the mechanical drivers of the coal yard to adopt the method of "sprinkling, injection, turning over and breaking off" to deal with the spontaneous combustion point. At the same time, Project Department staffs were required to strengthen patrol to improve safety alertness.
