On July 28th, 2019, WOM Ciro Redondo Project Department organized the first staff mobilization conference in Cuba biomass power plant with the theme of “Unifying Thought, Guaranteeing Safety, Building Image”.

        The 1X60MW biomass power station project in Ciro Redondo, Cuba, is the first operation project of WOM in the Americas and the first operation project of biomass power station undertaken by the company. The project department attaches great importance to it, gathers the best employees and organizes the staff meeting of the project department when the project is about to enter the debugging period. Mr. Liu Zhigang, general manager of the project, emphasized in his work mobilization that first of all, we should unify our minds, instill the importance of Ciro Redondo Project to the development of the company, concentrate our efforts and make joint efforts to do well in Ciro Redondo Project. Second, we should recognize that building safety is the basis of all work so that it is necessary to organize and study the working rules of electric power safety, raise safety awareness and set up safety red line. Thirdly, we should build a good image. Staffs in other countries should abide by Cuban laws, respect local customs and habits, and help each other so as to win the respect of other units and local people in the project through practical actions.

        Taking the development strategy of the national "the Belt and Road", the leaders of the project department and all staff members will fulfill their duties and overcome all difficulties in the theme education action of the WOM company, "do not forget initial hearts and the mission", do their best to complete the Ciro Redondo Project in Cuba and build the WOM image in Cuba.
