In order to effectively prevent the existing risks, eliminate all kinds of hidden dangers, so that achieve the goal of containment of accidents, since the shutdown of No. 2 Power Plant of WOM Xinji Project Company on June 12th, it has increased capital, material and manpower investment, paid close attention to equipment renovation, dared to face the existing problems with a pragmatic attitude, and eliminated all kinds of hidden dangers with the working style of " never stop doing things until reach the goals".

        This overhaul work is based on the backbone of the WOM Maintenance Department, with the participation of our factory and other professional teams and service manufacturers. Maintenance work has been carried out in an all-round way in the form of ground network. Through nearly a month's efforts, the maintenance of the oil regulating high-speed system of steam turbines and the cleaning of condenser copper tubes have been completed successively. Two sets of copper tube bundles of turbine oil cooler (total 800), three sets of generator air cooler tubes have been replaced, and one high-pressure oil pump, one water jet pump, 30 barrels of turbine oil and various types of valves (about 20 valves) have been replaced. The dredging work of circulating pool has been completed. In the dredging work, about 600 carts have been cleaned up. The preventive disintegration and overhaul of fans and motors of boiler three auxiliaries, electrical overhaul and test of high and low distribution equipment have been completed. At the same time, more than 30 kinds of equipment defects have been eliminated.

        Recently, the shutdown and maintenance work of No. 2 Power Plant is continuing, and the tube change of boiler air preheater is being carried out. The whole overhaul work is progressing in an orderly manner as planned and is expected to be completed by July 25th.
