On May 26, the joint effort of 20 staff of WOM brought a happy end to the 8-day precommissioning of Anqing Phase I standby transformer.
       
  This maintenance faced lots of problems which needed to be solved within tight time. In order to make sure all the work can be finished smoothly, electrical staff made a deliberate plan and detailed arrangement. They also analyzed danger elements and notes during the maintenance. The precommissioning faced much work high above the ground which contained high risk factors. The person in charge has to strictly follow the requirement of working permission orders and check site safety situation. Then he would tell related staff to make sure precommissioning can be processed.
       
  During the maintenance, safety control must be reinforced. Each person on duty had to be clear on their responsibility. There had to be specified supervisor at site to ensure qualified safety measures and correct technological process.
        
  The precommissioning for standby transformer and other equipment got rid of hidden dangers to provide safety guarantee for unit stable running under good condition. It also laid good foundation for the coming summer power on-peak demand period and flood and drought prevention.
