WOM Zetas Unit 5 Passed 168h Full Load Test Run

At Turkey local time 16:20, on Aug 27th, the unit 5 of Zetas Phase Ⅲ two 700MW supercritical coal power units passed the 168h test run with full load. The warm applause burst out with the accompany of 10-second countdown of the Third Division Manager of Harbin Electric Group, which also indicated unit 5 successful transfer over Turkey owner within guarantee period. The synchronization and business operation of unit 5 was achieved 2 months earlier prior to that as planned. It also marked the accomplishment of construction work of two units of Phase Ⅲ.
Since July 20th, the unit 4 passed full load test run, WOM Turkey project department had been working hard for preparation of unit 5 test run, as well as ensure the stable and safe operation of unit 4. During the test run, management staffs of WOM project department stood firmly on their posts for coordination and command in case of any emergencies regardless of day or night. The operators of three shifts had to work for 12 hour one day yet remained fighting spirits by overcoming mental and physical exhaustion. They never relaxed on unit operation. With careful operation, delicate adjustment and intense inspection, many abnormal issues got under control in time. The sweat and perspiration they paid for fulfilling this big task were highly praised by both leaders of Harbin Electric Group and Turkey owner.
