Unit #4 of Quang Ninh Power Plant(Phase Ⅱ) in Vietnam restarted before PAC
With the end of last “Noise Test”on 4th March, the test on performance of unit #4 of Quang Ninh Power Plant(Phase Ⅱ) in Vietnam had been finished completely. In comparison with the test on performance of unit #3(Phase Ⅱ), the efficiency and quality had been improved dramatically. With the consent of owner, all units were stopped for defect maintenance. After that, unit #4 was ignited at 0h on 16th March 2014 punctually. The last startup before PAC was attached to great importance, implying that unit #4 was set to turn over to Vietrnamese owner and also Project PhaseⅡ soon would be terminated successfully. After unit #4 shut-down, maintenance staff checked EH oil system of turbine carefully and proposed solutions concerning over-current and over-flow of EH oil pump during running. They pumped all EH oil to filter, replaced GV servo valve and flushed solenoid valve of main steam valve. The emulsion of low pressure bypass oil station was also removed totally. With coordination of all technicians, unit #4 was started smoothly.

WOM Taicang Project Department commended for excellent performance
The honorable title “Advanced Group with Four Stars” was awarded to the 3rd shift group of fuel operation from WOM Taicang Project Department, ranking second among 31 outsourcing groups. The 4th shift group of desulfurization operation got the 5th place. The two groups were both highly commended by Huaneng Power Plant, March 2014. It has been one year since Taicang Power Plant required that all sections implement regulations and strengthen management on safety. Huaneng Group held meeting and decided to launch a special movement to carry out safety regulations and grade these outsourcing companies and groups according to their implementation. Meanwhile, Project Department conveyed the meeting tenor to all groups, building advanced working groups. With the leadership of sections, all groups accomplished every production task successfully and safely during one year. Taking the movement as a chance, all groups enhanced efforts and worked hard with innovation, whom Huaneng Taicang Power Plant spoke highly of for excellent work style. Among them, the 3rd shift group implemented and carried out measures of safety production positively, taking “production with safety” as the core. They put people first and established the concept of “zero violation of discipline” to avert accidents. And they also worked from details and insisted on the principle of combining instruction with punishment to implement responsibilities to every post and avoid individual mistakes. Moreover, the shift group strengthened safety consciousness in the forms of inspection of shift head and staff rectification. In this way would every worker take part in group management consciously and spontaneously.

Vietnam project staff celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival
Before Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, WOM Vietnamese Guang Nin project staffs gathered, held "Moonlight" poker game. On September 12, preliminaries start in a boat on the scenic Xialong Bay. Before the start,the project manager,Chen Huichun convey the greetings which from WOM leadership, and wish they a happy holiday. After making a drawing and grouping, the game players and competition. Some players "menacing" and want to overwhelm the other side in the momentum, some players were thought without a word. As a result of the nnounced round of games, on-site from time to time a burst of laughter. The next day, the final was held in the cafeteria, three pairs of contestants from the preliminaries to win the game loop. Finally, Wang Guosheng and Zhang Huimin combination won the championship. Chen Huichun awarded certificates for outstanding players and bonuses. He hoped that more employees in the event to show unity, optimism, overcoming difficulties and maintaining, and implementing the work, bring honor to the project department, bring honor to W-energy, bring honor to the motherland. Hefei branch Jin Yuan project department successfully tested stable combustion
Saving potential for the mining, Jin Yuan company decided to conduct a trial of low load combustion stability. The department of WOM Hefei branch Jin yuan project carefully organized, serious investment in one fell swoop made test a success. Hefei company held the forum in Vietnam returnees
Early autumn season, people feel comfortable in the cool autumn wind. In the afternoon of September 2th, Wenergy Hefei Power Company held the forum in Vietnam returnees. The company secretary, trade union chairman ZhouJing preside over the meeting. The general manager of the company Fang shiqing, the party secretary Hu Xiucai attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Industrial branch deputy general manager Yang Lin,deputy secretary Chen Hong, and the staffs who returned from Vietnam participated in the forum. The atmosphere relaxed and happy, people communicate with each other. Chen Huichun, the project manager in Vietnam, introduced the owner and the operation of our staff in Vietnam, work and life. Subsequently, the professionals from different professions, different perspectives about the difficulties encountered in Vietnam during the period, domestic and overseas power generation business, and different employees to complete the work to overcome the situation. They said：work abroad not only has learned to open up the horizons of knowledge,but also see their own shortcomings and improves skills. Staff were also on how to expand overseas markets, establish a brand and other aspects of the idea, suggested that the company can establish a rotation mechanism for overseas staff to address the worries of going abroad. Fang Shiqing expressed thanks to everyone. He gave details of the company's production operations work. He hoped that the employees ideas, from the "working" role into a full team of technical content. He asked everyone at work handling brains, study more, be a responsible employee, effort for the company's healthy and harmonious development. Hu Xiucai analyzed the current development situation of enterprises, stressing the importance of opening up foreign markets. He pointed out that as employees, they should have the global consciousness, and work hard, show talent, enhance brand, and create results.
