WOM Fulfill Unit 1 A-class Maintenance in Huainan Power Plant
The WOM maintenance team, under the leadership of Project Manager Ruanwei, through two-month overcoming difficulties and tenses, finally fulfilled the unit 1 A-class maintenance in Huainan Pansan Power Plant. The primary ignition, unit turning and synchronization could be then achieved successfully. The owner also gave praise for their performance.

Success for WOM Maanshan#2 HPALP Cylinder Closure
At 16:10 on Nov 2, with the whole efforts of WOM, the Wenergy anshan company has gained success on the #2 HP&LP cylinder closure. This means the maintenance work of Turbine major parts is close to finale. The cylinder dismantling of turbine is the main work of 201A-class maintenance. The closure for HP&LP cylinder requires high technique and tense precision, which is the most difficult part of the maintenance. In order to ensure the success, WOM-Maanshan project staff has made plans and arrangement in advance. With the cooperation of other companies, by optimizing the construction schemes and creating advantageous conditions, when the problems found, we communicate with manufacturers to get material information. With the reasonable construction scheme, the problems can be solved immediately. On the other hand, by taking advantages of all resources, day and night shifts, every minute counts, the project progress is put forward orderly. The critical data is measured again and again. Meeting for discussing the technique and schemes for cylinder closure regulates the details and cleaning. All above ensure the success of cylinder closure. The cylinder closure work has a clear division of responsibilities and orderly command. Working staff wear special protective clothes to check cylinder inside carefully t and get rid of dust with cleaner. Then purge by compressed air, inspect with endoscope to make sure there is no dirty things inside. The management staff supervised strictly on safety and quality. Each step has been carefully supervised. At 9:30 am on Nov 1, the #2 platform, the cylinder closure work began. The commanders checked and organized every detail again, staff on the cylinder prepared equipment and tools before hoisting. The spot was on busy and orderly condition. Installing for down carrier, gland sealing, bearing push, HP rotor placing, top carrier, gimbal ring placing, top inner cylinder placing, bolt fastening and insert large screw for outer cylinder, the total process cost 13 hours. At 15:30 on Nov 2, the outer cylinder closure started. The outer cylinder was hoisted by crane slowly. Maintenance staff purged and painted with heat-resisting grease, after being sure everything right, under the command, the crane driver dropped the huge cylinder. Then maintenance staff adjusted the clearance again and again. By measuring the surface, make sure the drop was vertical. With the whole efforts of all, after 40-minute tense working, the outer cylinder was finally successfully closed.

WOM Cilacap Project Dept Finish Acid Washing of Unit 3
On October 21，the boiler acid washing of unit 3 in 1×660MW power plant of Cilacap was done successfully. This was another important progress after the alkaline washing. The success also laid solid foundation for boiler purging and startup of whole unit.

Team construction Relies on Diligence
Recently, in order to improve the regulative management of team construction, coal pulverizing team of Fa’erGuizhou has followed the spirits of WOM’s three-quarter conference and call for regulative management. They take advantage of leisure time to make tool cabinet and cupboard by using materials left from equipment transformation. This regulates tool storage and material management, which also encourages staff to handily make things. Other teams should learn their spirits. Project leaders give highly praise on their diligent behaviors.

Success of WOM Krishnapetnam PLant Unit2 RT
At Indian time 20:30, on October13, TPCIL power plant was full of sound of applause and cheers. Unit 2 passed the 14-day running test! WOM staffs, DEC contractor, commissioning company and electric power construction enterprise were happily sharing the joy of success. Since the running trial of Krishnapatnam unit 2 at 20:30 on September 29, unit had been running steadily. Till that night of ending run test. The total electricity was 222868.8MW, with load rate reaching 100.5%, almost running 14 days with full load. The result indicated the good quality of the world second supercritical and half-supercritical unit. Behind the success, it was the cooperation of WOM staff, commissioning company and Construction Company that provided technical support for guiding and supervision. The hardship and payment of success was always invisible. The process of running test was not smoothly. The boiler and turbine both had some problems which affected the operation. In order to ensure the success of running test, WOM staff kept eyes on the equipment for any possible problem regardless of the high temperature. They took measures to solve problems in time before getting more serious. They also measured the vibration and temperature of main and auxiliary equipment of turbine, and reported to Indian owner if any abnormal situation was found. After passing through running test of unit 2, the commissioning staff began to leave. The operation working was also transferred to WOM. The task became more difficult plus the operation and maintenance of unit 1. WOM staff enhanced the spirits of development, efficiency, innovation and leadship, gave full heart to local project and kept working hard to ensure all work could be finished.
