The Dedication Spirt of WOM Light the New Year's Eve
On February 7, the New Year’s Eve, the operators of WOM Huasu thermal plant department were working and sticking to their posts as always. The project manager Zhang dehong, taking other managerial staff by the hand, came to mail control room for pre-shifting meeting. He expressed the condolence as delegation of WOM leaders, and gratitude to their holding posts on this biggest festival. He again stressed that no one could ignore precaution during Spring Festival. The unit must be ensured with safe and stable operation. As the front line workers of Electrical industry, even on the New Year’s Eve, a day for family reunion, they couldn’t accompany family like ordinary people. But due to their holding posts, millions of families could enjoy the good nights. The lamps and candles of myriad families made them feel warm from the bottom of heart.

New Employee Training for D&C of GILACAP Project
On Jan 29th, to strengthen training for new employees of D&C, improve their safety consciousness and professional level, Ma junhui the project manager organized a training mobilization meeting. This meeting gained high attention of the owner and project leaders. It was required to submit training plan cooperated with following execution work. Regarding the language problem, each major selected one assistant to enhance the communication with translators, this could ensure the real practice efficiency of training work, so that Indonesian trainees could learn and improve their working skills. Another requirement was that new employees should obey labor rules and guarantee 100% attendance. The translators would help them if there was some confusion during the class, thus ensure the training really useful. Through this training meeting, the working passion of new employees was improved. It also deepened the friendship between WOM staff and that of D&C, which laid a solid foundation for future steady development of project.

WOM Faer Power Project Cleared out Unit 2 Element Falling Fault against Night Raining
On the midnight of Jan 1,2016， in Guizhou Faer Plant of Datang Group, one water separating element of boiler 2 fell off, which affected the normal operation of whole equipment. The shift staff of WOM Faer project soon took about dealing with the maintenance work under the arrangement of commander. Due to the snow and rain, the weather condition was too terrible for working. The closed wet environment could easily lead to electricity shock trouble. However, after making all safety measures done, they took proper procedures for maintenance, and through 5-hour hardworking, the water separating element finally was recovered. Thanks to the safety supervisor, the maintenance working could be done under secure conditions. This maintenance work fully showed the spirit of diligence and hardship endurance. Their working style of courage and determination laid a good impression of the company, even gained the best praise from owner.

WOM Cilacap Project Successfully Perform Boiler Blowpipe
On Nov 30, 2015, the blowpipe work of two 660MW units in Cilacap began. Till Dec 23, the blowpipe of super heater met the demand. And each system was ready to be adjusted. The staffs were prepared to blowpipe the reheater. On Dec27, when all the conditions were ready to blowpipe, temporary crashing gate appeared fault and the blowpipe was forced to stop. Until 22:00 on Jan 9, 2016, the fault was exterminated. The reheater began to blowpipe after boiler ignition. At 14:00 on Jan 11, the three continuous shooting of reheater blowpipe marked the success in unit main pipe system and reheater system. During the blowpipe of reheater, due to the sudden fault, besides 8 staffs returned China for yearly holidays, the recovery faced extreme lack of operators. Vice manager Ma junhui has kept watch the site situation, coordinated and handled any possible issues that may happen. All operators were required to get in 12h shifts. For major operations, system start or stop, the related engineers must attend the work. Under the leadership of boiler engineer Yao xingling, boiler operator Zhang zhiping and Liang shaoqiu kept working for 36 hours until the blowpipe ended. For operations from other majors, they were prepared for help with unified pace. Their spirit of obeying arrangement and diligent working to ensure the success of blowpipe gained great praise and favorable reception from all members.

WOM Liu jian Won First in the Anqing Welding Match
On Dec 10, the WOM Anqing department held the 2015 yearly welding match, which was organized by WOM-Wanjiang Labor Party members and Equipment labor party. The staff took active part in the match. Through the serious inspection and evaluation, the match result was released on Dec 15. By judging the appearance of the welding, internal quality, welding time and safety production conditions during the process of welding, the judgment group gave impartial evaluation to the 10 competitors. At last, Liu Jian and Song zhaochun from boiler profession stood out among all others. They respectively won first and third prize. The match was a good way to promote mutual understanding and communication. It also created academic atmosphere for workers, thus laid a solid foundation to build the first-class team and better serve owners as well as the whole society.
