WOM Taicang Guarantee Power Supply for G20 Summit
The Summit joined by a group from 20 countries in 2016, which is short for G20 Summit, was convened on Sep 4th and Sep 5th. In order to guarantee the safe and stable operation of power supply during this special period, WOM Taicang project department spared all efforts to prepare for safe and stable production on the political basis. The team to ensure power supply was set up. From August 26th to September 6th, the team took deliberate arrangement and measures on every detail. The coal conveying system, FGD and circulating pump system were essential to be supervised. It requested that all staff tend to their positions and responsibilities. The coal conveying operation shift was given more prominence on control of firefighting. As for high volatile coal and inflammable coal, it was required for flushing and severe supervision to prevent coal self-ignition. When adding coal to bunker, it took more attention to prevent abnormal situations such as coal plugging, combustion, boiler shutdown, unit load limit or discharge beyond standard. Through all these measures taken by WOM Taicang department, the power supply for G 20 Summit was somehow guaranteed. The future goal of stable power supply was also provided by a solid foundation.

WOM Passed Performance Test of Unit 1 in Krishnaptnam
On the premise of full preparation for unit 1 in Krishnaptnam power plant, WOM started the performance test at Indian local 8:00 on Sep 14th. Cooperating with the Electrical Power Research Institute and getting to know the real situation, WOM staff made sure all the isolation work done without error. The test was carried out starting from the ESP discharge under the burning condition of designed coal. Then the tests of boiler discharge, turbine heat consumption under TMCR and VWO, auxiliary power, CPU PH, boiler noise and nitrogen-containing compound and ESP discharge under worst coal condition were performed. All the tests were fulfilled at Indian local 22:10 on Sep 17th It was also Chinese Mid-autumn Festival during the test period, when family were supposed to gather together and enjoy the time, However, the staffs abroad could only averted their longing to passion for working, and cooperated with owner on the test performance. With the coordination and efforts of all, the unit 1 test work finally achieved a full success. The preliminary test data were all within the acceptable range. The test of both two units was finished as required. This also marked a coming end of project in Krishnaptnam. The WOM staffs would still keep onto their spirits of enduring hardship, and stand on their posts during the last moment, in expectation for satisfactory accomplishment.

WOM Zetas Unit 5 Passed 168h Full Load Test Run
At Turkey local time 16:20, on Aug 27th, the unit 5 of Zetas Phase Ⅲ two 700MW supercritical coal power units passed the 168h test run with full load. The warm applause burst out with the accompany of 10-second countdown of the Third Division Manager of Harbin Electric Group, which also indicated unit 5 successful transfer over Turkey owner within guarantee period. The synchronization and business operation of unit 5 was achieved 2 months earlier prior to that as planned. It also marked the accomplishment of construction work of two units of Phase Ⅲ. Since July 20th, the unit 4 passed full load test run, WOM Turkey project department had been working hard for preparation of unit 5 test run, as well as ensure the stable and safe operation of unit 4. During the test run, management staffs of WOM project department stood firmly on their posts for coordination and command in case of any emergencies regardless of day or night. The operators of three shifts had to work for 12 hour one day yet remained fighting spirits by overcoming mental and physical exhaustion. They never relaxed on unit operation. With careful operation, delicate adjustment and intense inspection, many abnormal issues got under control in time. The sweat and perspiration they paid for fulfilling this big task were highly praised by both leaders of Harbin Electric Group and Turkey owner.

WOMHuasu Project Embraced the Fifth 100-dayNon-abnormal Shutdown
Till August 4, WOM Huasu project witnessed the stable operation of two units and embraced the fifth 100-day without abnormal shutdown. The performance achieved was due to the high attention paid by WOM leaders and safety consciousnessof staff during the production. The project has paid much attention on safety productionand habitual violation against rulesin recently years. The intensified management on work permission system and safety inspection during spring and autumn for shooting hidden danger avoid the accidents or abnormal shutdown caused by man-made. The frequent training, with its new mode, has been considered as routine task to provide technical guarantee for stable running of unit. In the meanwhile, it has prepared human resources for future development of WOM. Through the severer management and training of project department, the staffs cultivated the sense to be very careful and superior consciousness of precaution. This kind of improving realization on safety encouragedsafety behavior and self-discipline. With mutual concern and supervision on production management, the records of safety production were refreshed again and again. Thus the solid mental foundation of safety will create more 100-day record of unit non-abnormal shutdown.

WOM Zetas Project Achieved First Synchronization for Unit 5
On July 30, at Turkey local time 16：02, Zetas Phase Ⅲ supercritical unit 5 which was operated by WOM won first synchronization. Since July 24, unit 4 was accepted by the owner and put into business operation. Just a week later, WOM arranged and organized unit 5 full start under the requirement of Harbin Electric Group. The elaborate and reasonable layout ensured the stable and safe operation of unit 4, which spared people’s efforts on unit 5 Start-up. Through the hardship of whole staffs of project, this large milestone was achieved. The excellent performance was highly praised by both the owner and leaders from Harbin Electric Group.
