Report on the Wasit Power Plant
The Wasit project is located 120 kilometers southeast of the Iraqi capital Baghdad, by the Digris river , the surrounding vegetation is dense, the security situation is stable. TheWasitpower plant has 4 sets of 330MW and 2 sets of 610MW fuel / gas motor group，total installed capacity of 2 million 540 thousand kilowatts , July 2015 has all been put into operation in power generation ,The annual electricity generation accounts for 1/4 of the total electricity consumption in Iraq, and has a pivotal role in the Iraqi electricity industry. According to company arrangements, 11 people to participate in thepower plant guidance and supervision , starting in October 31st from Shanghai, security arrived in the power plant at the local time afternoon of November 1st. Wasit project is set up in a short time, high technical requirements, in order to reach as soon as possible for requirements, in the first time to approach the work arrangement, organization of on-site equipment and familiar environment, understand the operation conditions of the unit, the collected training data, timely copies were distributed to all learning, and organization common learning, use a projector to project department the DCS on the main screen and operating procedures, familiar with English words, system diagram and unit start stop process, improve the efficiency of learning. At present, Wasit project site to carry out preliminary work is compact, orderly, staff work initiative, full of spirit, always remember leadership instruction, in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of power on debugging, to reflect their ability in site supervision, show the strength of the company.
