WOM Pingshan Project Department strengthen the management of drugs in Chemistry
On the hot June day, Pingshan Power Plant is in high load operation state, the quantity of medicine in each region increases and the frequency of drug supply increases too. In order to ensure the safe use and sufficient storage of drugs, Pingshan Project Department strictly implements the dangerous chemicals management system and strengthens the operation and management of drug storage area. The project department stipulated that according to the drug use situation in each region, the required drugs should be reported to the owner in advance to prevent the insufficient storage of drugs from affecting the operation of the equipment; strictly enforce the management system of large quantities of drugs, do a good job in the registration of drugs in and out of the storehouse; and strengthen the routing inspection for the acid area, during the use of acid and alkali drugs, the leakage prevention measures should be done, and the registration work should be done in time. Strengthen the inspection of safe medicine box and spray device in acid-base area to ensure that they are in standby at any time.

Through the analysis of the accident cases of the warning film, it sounded the alarm bell of every employee's mind. At the same time, it has raised the awareness of safety prevention, firmly established the concept of "life first, safe development", attached great importance to safety in production, reported and rectified problems in a timely manner, effectively contained and prevented the occurrence of safety accidents so as to promote the safe, healthy and stable development of WOM Company.

WOM Huasu Project Company completed the unit defects elimination after the shutdown and start up again successfully
Due to the failure of the outlet arrester of #2 generators in Huasu Thermal Power Plant, and the frequent thunderstorms in May and June, the safety risk of the unit increased. On the evening of May 23rd, after the arrester was delivered at the plant, the thermal power plant required the project company to shut down the unit for 3 hours to replace the arrester before starting the unit. Due to the time constraints and heavy tasks, project company leaders arrive ahead of time to guide the work on the job site, organize the competent personnel to carry out the work of shutdown and restart. And after the reasonable arrangement and careful operation, the #2 unit was safely shut down in the early morning of the 24th, and the extremely hot-start of the unit was completed within the schedule time. Through this continuous operation, it fully reflects the perfect technical skills and the problem solving ability of the operator in WOM Huasu Project Company.

WOM Pingshan project department focus on the rectification and reform work
Recently, Pingshan project department, combined with the large safety inspection activities of WOM Company in the spring of 2018, earnestly implemented the rectification work. The problems which included high temperature, large amount of water and high consumption of chemicals in summer were found in the spring inspection, and the chemical profession actively cooperated with the maintenance personnel to clean up the storage tanks and drain the medicine pipes to ensure during the summer season, the water treatment and dosing equipment can meet the needs of water supply. Meanwhile, chemical cleaning for reverse osmosis is carried out to improve the quality of the reverse osmosis effluent. It lays a good foundation for the successful start-up of the unit #1 and creates conditions for the stable operation of the two unit in the summer peak.

WOM Pingshan project department create conditions for summertime to meet the peak and provide reliable guarantee for safe operation of two units
In order to ensure the safe operation of the two units and to carry out the work of safety in production, after the successful grid-connection of the #1 unit of Shenwan on May 21st, the Pingshan Project Department, in accordance with the overall arrangement of the WOM company, conscientiously implemented the measures to meet the summer peak, and actively carried out the "violation and hidden dangers elimination" activities, to protect the person and equipment as the main line of safety production, to strengthen team building and job-site management as the focus, to carry out the production site and counter violations as a breakthrough. While concentrating on job-site safety management, Pingshan project department also put an emphasis on the work of "rectifying production safety". Carry out a comprehensive investigation of the hidden dangers of safety, conscientiously sort out, formulate feasible rectification measures, strengthen the responsibilities, carry out rectification and reform one by one, so as to create conditions for summertime to meet the peak and provide reliable guarantee for safe operation of two units.
