At 15:52 on June 8th, after a series of tests, the enlarged C-level maintenance of Unit #1 in Banji Power Plant was successfully connected to the grid once, marking the successful completion of another maintenance project in the first half of 2019 by the WOM Maintenance Department.

        Enlarged C-level maintenance of unit #1 in Banji Power Plant is a maintenance project for 1000MW Units undertaken by the maintenance department of WOM Company in the first half of 2019. This maintenance project involves 296 maintenance items of boilers, turbines, electrical and I&C. In addition to the conventional project of turbine proper inspection, generator proper inspection, four tube inspection of boiler proper and auxiliary equipment inspection and maintenance, five coal mills were overhauled, with emphasis on three special items which are replacement of metal flange for expansion joint of circulating water pump, on-line plugging transformation of industrial water pump and replacement of outer elbow of final RH header. In order to do a good job in this enlarged C-level maintenance of Unit #1, the project department conscientiously implements various safety and preventive measures, strictly follows the whole process management process of C-level maintenance of generating units, strictly controls the quality of maintenance process and technical standards, ensures safety, quality and schedule, and ensures division of labor and cooperation among various specialties. The project department insists on daily organization. The maintenance coordination meeting will be held to deal with the problems and difficulties arising in the process of maintenance in a timely manner, while emphasizing the key points of maintenance work and safety precautions, so as to ensure the smooth progress of maintenance work.

        The maintenance project was officially started on April 26th, and the unit maintenance, related commissioning and transmission test were completed on June 4th. The grid connection was successfully started on June 8th. After the grid connection, all the indexes and parameters of the unit were within a reasonable range, which provided a reliable guarantee for the long-term safe, stable and economic operation of #1 unit in Banji Power Plant.
