Recently, in Sri Lankan Putnam power plant, the left main steam valve of turbine has been successfully accepted by owner CEB and CMEC.
        After the left MSV of turbine dismantled, valve pedestal was found serious cracks. If domestic professional company solved this problem, that might cost several hundred thousand RMB. And it was also unavailable during overhaul period. The owner finally asked Sri Lanka project department of WOM for help. Our managers there took over this hard task even though they had lots of work to do under a condition of lacking local staff. Manager in charge of turbine organized technicians to analyze data and make out technical maintenance plan, which successfully overcame the problem of left MSV. According to certain measuring data, the maintenance staff ground by hand and finished pedestal line. They sacrificed Chinese National Day holidays, having been working for more than 20 days since September 20th. Finally after 50 times hitting line, all data met the need of standard, and the MSV pedestal maintenance work was highly accepted by the owner CMEC, which indicated the excellent skills of WOM staff.
