Unit #1 in Puttalam Power Station, located in northwest Sri Lanka, was stopped on July 6，which implied that major overhaul of this plant conducted by WOM was deployed comprehensively. This project will last 90 days, and more than 100 people are engaged in the work related to turbine, electric, boiler, and ash handling system etc.
In order to accomplish the task in a safe and timely manner and ensure quality, WOM Sri Lankan project department has made good preparation, set up comprehensive maintenance management system and worked out construction plan. Each department held discussions with CEB, the owner before the commencement of work. Currently, major work of the maintenance has been in progress in a comprehensive and orderly way.
